A line of strong to severe storms is expected to move in from Tennessee and Alabama between 7 p.m. and midnight, with the Atlanta metro area most likely to see the strongest storms around or after 8 p.m. Damaging wind gusts are the primary threat, though a brief tornado isn’t out of the question... especially in far northwest Georgia.
