Microsoft has finally noticed how bad Windows has become in 2026, and they are now taking many steps to improve it. First they are removing Copilot from apps like Photos and Notepad, which is nice. Next, the entire UI is being redesigned to feel faster, notifications will be less annoying, and driver support should improve as well. On top of that, Windows Setup is getting simpler, RAM usage is being reduced, File Explorer should get faster, and most importantly, the Search feature might finally start working properly. Thank God for that! When it comes to updates, Windows updates can now be paused indefinitely, so this won’t happen. And yeah, Microsoft is also aiming for a single monthly reboot instead of multiple restarts.
