Alaska Airlines is making a major bet on Boeing. The carrier has made its biggest aircraft purchase in company history, even as Boeing works to rebuild trust following a series of safety issues. On Wednesday, Alaska inked a deal to purchase 105 Boeing 737-10 jets and five Boeing 787-10 widebody aircraft.
