Lindsay Shiver, 36, of Thomasville, is accused of conspiring with her boyfriend, Terrance Bethel, 28, and another man, Faron Newbold, 29, to kill Robert Shiver, a former Auburn football player who now sells insurance. According to the Bahamas Court News, investigators uncovered the alleged plot earlier this month while investigating a break-in at a bar on the island of Guana. While searching the phone of a suspect in the burglary, officers discovered messages on WhatsApp that detailed the alleged murder plot.The Thomasville Times-Enterprise reported that the Shivers own a home in the Bahamas.
