Brennan’s impressive junior season included a notable showing at the 67th VSGA Junior Stroke Play Championship hosted by Winchester Country Club. Michael found himself one stroke back after the second round, and after a back and forth final round, he finished runner-up to David Stanford by one stroke. Outside of VSGA events, Michael competed in the U.S. Amateur, U.S. Amateur Four-Ball with partner Jeff Long, and the British Amateur Championship. He also won the Middle Atlantic Amateur Championship for the third year in a row, the first person to accomplish this feat. Michael finished the year ranked first in the VSGA Player Rankings.
